Happy Birthday Ella

This weekend it was Ella's birthday and after questioning her several times, she did confirm that she wanted to have a birthday celebration. Who knew a 3 year old would want to have cake and presents.

Ella was doing some damage to the cake. Well her icing anyways. Next year we are just going to get her a gallon of whipped icing in multiple colors.

All that icing took its toll and she was on the verge of a sugar high crash.

Melany has moved on from the days of just eating the icing and now prefers to eat the cake as well. She ate her share and nearly had a the dreaded sugar high crash.

But then there were presents and energy levels were quickly replinished.

Ella had to start with the card. How boring.

However, she really liked this card.

It had Hello Kitty tattoos inside.

I am sure the card says something like Happy Birthday Ella!

Now on with the good stuff. Present number one.

It's pink! It's a purse! It's Dora!

I think she likes it. Melany is already scheming a way to get it from Ella. She now wants to share her new birthday presents from her birthday. SHOCKER!

Oh my, more pink stuff. Something Hello Kitty for sure.

No pink this time. A Dora doll. Another favorite.

This one looks big, it must be fun. I bet it is more Dora.

Whatever it is, Ella thinks it is fantabulous.

Melany was really having a ball at this point.

Suddenly, Ella opens a big bag and there is a ball. A big ball.

Here catch!

Ella loved the little birthday card.

And the accompanying present really gave her a workout while she struggled to open it.

It's....it's....it's....an Ugly Doll! She loves it and luckily Ugly Doll was accepted into the flock of brown puppy, white puppy, polka puppy, giraffe, mickey, noisy cat, and the numerous other must-have-all-the-time favorites.

Happy Birthday Ella!
